Imperial Gold is a premium lager with a rich and full-bodied taste. The valuable malt delivered from Scotland gives it a deep golden colour and a thick head. The taste and appearance of A. Le Coq Imperial Gold are as worthy of royal attention today as they ever were.

Clear golden with medium white OK stable head. Lacing weird but nice. Aroma.. standard lager hops, ok malts, bit cornish Sweetish with light bitter finish. OK balanced As I was thirsty both times when I used this as thirst quencher, I can say that for this purpose it served well. No unpleasant aspects.. drinkable quite boring brew

0,4L bottle, BB 29.08.2014. Pours clear golden with small white head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, grain, and malt. Taste: is sweet with some bitterness in the back, watery, and malt. Finish has some bitterness. Overall: as far as macro lagers go, this is not that bad.

StoutHead (621) - DENMARK - MAR 25, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear pale amber color with a small white head. Not much aroma. Taste is of malt, grain and a bit, hops and citrus. Sweet with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Average and not bad at all.

CanCrusher (620) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - JUL 11, 2014
Bottle 0,40L. Clear, golden colour with lively visible carbonation and average big, frothy, white head. Citrusy - lemon aroma with some yeast and fruits in the background. Taste starts slightly acidic and turns to light bitter fast. Watery beer with light to medium body and soft carbonation. Nothing "classy" here, just ordinary lager...

ectuohy27 (575) - ESTONIA - JUN 1, 2013
Thin palate, watery, sweeter-malt finish than the usual for this brewery; strongly suspect that this is a relabeling of A. Le Coq Imperial Gold, also brewed at 4.8% abv at Tartu.
Earlier Rating: 5/1/2013 Total Score: 2.9
Slightly improved regular A.Le Coq in a fancy undersized (13.5 oz as opposed to the normal 16.9) bottle, this has the thin palate and wateriness of its brandmates, with a significantly mproved sweet-malt finish

zenkis (567) - Ogre, LATVIA - JUN 15, 2013
0.4L bottle. Typical cheap lager with no quality. Aroma of rubber, malt, cereal, minimal hops. Taste - semisweet with light bitter, but flavor overall is not pleasant, seems like not from barley malt. High carbonated to me, light bodied. Again such money spent to make fancy bottle with nothing inside, pity.

hens (515) - Tallinn, Estonia, ESTONIA - MAR 28, 2013
0,4L bottle. Nice clear golden color with nice permanent tiny hat. Usual hop, yeast aroma. On taste gives note some spicy flavor. Ginger, lime. Enough of hops carbonating. Finish is bit light, but OK. Normal beer.

MarkoNm (501) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - MAY 14, 2014
Pours a clean golden color, topped with a very generous white frothy head. Solid retention. Lots of bubbles in there. A mild malty aroma, some dust, grains and a bit more grass. A bit unpleasant cardboard smell too. The taste starts slightly sweet. Balance in the body and little bitterness in the finish. Not the best one, but still good.

Senka (446) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 30, 2013
40cl bottle. Surprisingly weak pale lager. Smooth but is very watery at the same time. Tastebuds do not feel anything after 6 seconds. I would put it in to a pilsener style. Will rerate when the next batch is arround.
