Apr 1, 2008 Bottle (thanks Matt). Roasted aromas. Liquoricey sweetness, coffee and toasted malts. Slightly sweet fulll body (as expected from nose) but with nice roasty bitterness. Much more successful than the standard porter as the different elements come together well.

Mar 22, 2008 Moderate malty aroma. Huge, frothy, light brown head. Excellent lacing. Mostly lasting longevity. Clear amber body. Moderate bitter. Medium to full palate.

Mar 13, 2008 Dark brown to black, with a small off-white head. Malt and toffee in the aroma. Rather sweet with a lot of toffee and chocolate in the flavour.
