A Le Coq Kali Kaljasid on kahesuguseid: ühed on tehtud naturaalse kääritamise meetodil ja ehtsatest linnastest, teised... Puhas klassika.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2014 Decent kvass, a bit too sweet and watery, doesn’t have a full body. Aroma is really sweet.

50cl PET from Tallinn airport. Pours clear reddish brown with a fast dissipating beige head. Malty and caramely aroma with notes of dark bread. Sweet and malty without much bitterness. Watery, but quite pleasant.

50cl plastic bottle. Clear ruby color with no head. Aroma of rasins and malt. Thin body, strong carbonation. Taste of fruits with some malty hints. Nice and drinkable, but does not really feel like a kvass.

Dark brown colour, almost no head. Aroma of caramel, malt and fresh bread. Taste is sweet and a little sour, flavour of caramel and rye. Not a beer, but quite nice kvas drink, perfect for summer.

Bottle. Dark brown color with a minimal head. Mild sugary aroma. Sweet taste. Mainly it’s sugar and water with some malt.

Ruby red, small of white head. Nose is bready, malty and sweet, so is the taste, but with some sour notes in the background. Wold be better with less sweetness and more sourness. Not bad when cold., quite refreshing actually.

Both - 0,5L glass bottle for estonian market and 1L PET bottle Lidskoe Kvass in Belarus. Same drinks. This beverage is far better than artificial so-called Kvass or Kali. Refreshing, little bit sour (only little bit). For summerdays.

0.5 l bottle, thanks SaintMatty! Reddish brown color, sparkling appearance. Dry nutty aroma with rye malt. Sweetish rye malt flavor. OK low alcohol beer, I could drink this with food.
