Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 30, 2003 The aroma is sour malty - is it brewed using brewing cereal? The color is yellow and it has no head. The flavor is a boring sweet malty one - with some sour hints. A below average international lager. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 1, 2006 [Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear pale yellow, almost no head. Grassy nose. Medium bodied with crisp pilsnerish slenderness and a fair amount of papery malt. Medium bitterness. Good for a commercial lager. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 22, 2005 Updated: Jun 16, 2005(Bottle 30 cl) A beer in an octagonal bottle looking like a pre-revolution French perfume-bottle. Wauw, this is very fancy indeed. On that background it’s a pity Le Coq hasn’t bothered putting a decent beer in this hot looking container. The beer itself is an ordinary lager. Pale, decent head, slight sweetness and a very subdued bitterness. Very easy to drink and pleasant as such, but again - just an ordinary lager. Twist-off top. 080903 joergen (6240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 18, 2005 Pale yellow - almost colourless beer, with a white head.
Aroma of hops and malts.
Watery flavour dominated by hops with notes of grain and malt.
Boring. sk8viking (6078), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 24, 2005 Bottle. Pale golden colour with a small white head. Weak malty aroma and a thin malty grainy taste. Light body and a thin finish.
