Unlike other reviewers, I found this one really good, especially concerning it is a pale lager. Pours yellowy colour with small but lasting head. Tastes smooth, reasonably carbonated with rich grain and hops taste. Leaves a nice, slightly dry finish. Very good; can’t remember the last time I tried such a tasty pale beer.

Pale gold, white head. Taste has some mildly sweet malts and watery fizz. Very drinkable, not offensive and completely nondescript. Middle of the road everylager.

November 2008: Posh golden can with a foil covering over the ringpull, mine held 500ml and was taken during a lager tasting evening. The can also claimed the beer is a ’limited edition’, not sure it is! This was a bog standard pilsner in every way, nothing special in any aspect. Typical lager colour, typical lager non-smell, typical mouthfeel too. This beer could have been German, Czech, Polish or even American. Not a great beer, just average throughout.

Creamy. One beer with itneresting feaures, different taste than other lagers but still within the boundaries of the regular stuff. Nice head and colour.

500ml bottle. Very pale yellow (Lovibond 3). Good sized head lasts fairly long. Lacing is ample. Aroma is quite repulsive - like a wet dog. Tastes rather mellow with initial sweetness and hops to balance out. Im impressed with the balance but there's nothing really special about this.

hmmm. Estonia. This night is getting worse and worse. This beer just tastes like fermented shoe leather. No taste, bad aftertaste and surely a big hangover tomorrow. No good. Really watery colour.

Big can from Blaisure. Thin straw body w slight head. Nose is hay, water and metal. Taste is thin corny malts and slight sweet. Not offensive, as some are, but not much going for it either.

500ml from my local lcbo. Typical golden pour, next to no head. Aroma of wet grass, cardboard and corn. More sweet corn and cheap cereals in the finish with next to no bitterness. Lcbo, why?

500mL bottle, showed up unannounced at my local likboe. Pours a pale yellow with a small white foam. Aroma is of your standard pale malt syrup with peppery hops. Flavour has that odd ’East Euro’ malt character that I can’t quite describe, but is a little grainy. Nutty, and with some quick, peppery hop zing in the finish. Not a whole lot going on, and yet another in a long, long line of pointless beers the LCBO seems to feel the need to shower us with. Where’s my Aldaris Zelta?

0,5l can and bottle. Pale yellow color. Small white head. Metallic, grainy aroma. Light sweet watery body. Somewhat bitter ending. Nothing premium about it.
