COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Painstaking effort by our brewer in the selection of 6 different malts and 4 varieties of hops result in this burnished brown ale. Roasted barley and chocolate malt give this beer a rich balance of flavors, while added wheat provides a lively, long-lasting head. Like its namesake, this bridge is worth waiting for!

I have to agree with Hoss on this one, I could say almost exactly the same thing.

Clear brown in color... Aroma of light chocolate malts and nuts... Flavor was nutty and malty with notes of chocolate, slightly bitter finish, not the best on the palate, slightly off... Decent brown

Tap at brewpub. Good brown ale, light-bodied but with a full-taste, with notes of hazelnut and a discreet sweetness. I enjoyed the hoppiness, quite present and leafy. I liked that one pretty much!

(Rating #2269)

Beershine (4702) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - FEB 13, 2009
Rich dark brown with thick, rocky tan head. Fresh aroma is nutty, smooth, and dry. Thin finish but it was served too cold and needed to warm to bring out the body. Medium to high carbonation. Nice nuttiness persists throughout and finishes dry.

on tap-pours a tan head and mahogany color. Aroma is roasty dark malt-chocolate, hint of fruit, earthy hops. Taste is roasty dark malt-some molasses, secodnary earthy hops bite.

Brown pour, off-white head. Sweet malty aroma. Flavor was surprisingly good...caramel, nuts, brown sugar, syrup, and an odd but good yogurty quality. I don’t like many brown ales, but this one was pretty tasty.
