Pours clear amber little head with nice citrus nose. Not very hoppy for an ipa, more like a pale ale. Pretty good though.

On tap at the brewery. Light amber, medium head. Thin, hoppy nose. A good dose of hop flavor, but it’s a kind of "muddy" flavor with a thin body. Nothing great.

Several drafts at A1A Brewery, St. Augustine. Offered as an IPA at the brewery. Poured deep orange with thin white head. Floral nose. Sweet orange and grapefruit flavor. Not overly dry and bitter, at least it made for a reasonable session beer.

Tap at brewpub. Decent APA, light-bodied, with a citrusy aroma. Taste is mostly leafy and grapefruit hopping with a delicate malty sweetness. Enjoyable, like all of their beers that I had.

Sampler at brewpub Pours light copperish, thin white head. Aroma and taste, lightly hoppy, with light malts and hints of caramel and some spiced, citrus fruit hops. Nothing spectacular, but was really enjoyable and easy to drink.

(Rating #2268)

On tap at the Florida Brewers Guild BeerFest 2009. Pours hazy deep gold with thin white head. The mild aroma has a little bit of malt sweetness, some earthiness and some citrus. The taste is earthy, tobacco and backed up by a light amount of malt sweetness. About midway I get a pulse of grapefruit hop bitterness and pineapple joining the other notes to create a rather interesting mixture of flavors here. It starts to taste like it may have some guava too. Yes, very interesting.

The aroma is light hops and malt. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. This is one rather unmemorable beer. It is pretty much average right down the middle.

on tap-pours an off white head and gold color. Aroma is somewhat sweet citrus-grapefruit/spice-some bite. Taste is citrus-grapefruit with some bite, secondary sweet light/medium malt. Light side of medium body.
