Swing top bottle, bought in a Getränkehalle in Aalen. Grass, clove and some citrus in the flavor. Long finish, but short on aroma. Decent.

Poured hazy golden color with a ftothy white head. Wheat and banana and spicy aroma. Flavor was sweet fruity, like riped bananas, wheat and some yeasty notes. Drinkable, but slightly too sweet.

(swing top bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and persistent foamy white head. Yeasty and wheaty aroma with a moderate fruit-character of banana and citrus, also notes of bubblegum and shades of cloves are detectable. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Wheaty and yeasty fruity taste with a tinge of grains and mildly spicy notes in the background; sweet and viscidly malty, slightly fruity and spicy finish. Pleasantly rounded Weizen. 16.IX.10

Thanks to Quack-Duck for that bottle. Looks good, label a bit complex. Beer in the glass dark yellow-orange, nice head. Starts fruity like apricot, yeasty, not too dry or floury. Finish more and more sourish, that makes the beer interesting. Well balanced, quite drinkable. Good weizen!

bottle from Toom Aalen. Labelled Bügel Woiza (Woiza = Swabian for Weizen). Cloudy amber-golden colour, large white head. Fruity-wheaty nose. Medium-bodied, mild wheaty and malty flavours with a touch of caramel and shortbread biscuits. Slightly fruity. A mild but refreshing and well-balanced Weizen with a smooth and velvety palate.
