Great Breakfast Stout, smells like a chocolate cake. Pitch dark body, decent lacing. Taste of chocolate nibs, dash of cinnamon, hints of vanilla and coffee creamer. The only hindrance was the rather light body. If this beer had a hefty silk backbone then it is one of the greatest.

Draft at brewery. Pours pitch black with a small light brown head. Nose is malty, caramel, boozy, and vanilla. I swear i was confused when they told me they were barrel aging some, as this almost smelled and tasted like it was already barrel aged! taste is combination of malt, chocolate, booze, milk chocolate, lactose, roasty coffe and vanilla. A very good to great beer alcohol is there but never hot. Very decadent.

Deep dark black with a small light brown head. Big sweet malty, caramel, toffee, boozy, vanilla, light cinnamon note. Huge complex malt, chocolate, milk chocolate and lactose, roasty, light spicy notes, cinnamon and vanilla. Just a very smooth, complex and delicious beer. Much wow.

Growler shared at homebrew club. Truly fantastic breakfast stout! Dark black pour with khaki head. The aroma is at first a blast of cinnamon that transitions into sugar and vanilla sweetness. Taste is a rich chocolate and coffee blend with plenty of cinnamon and vanilla. Sweet but balanced with a slight bitterness. Cinnamon bun with a coffee. Perfect breakfast.
Contends (if not bests) some of the big boys of stout in my mind.

Coffe black pour into a snifter, khaki 1.5 finger head that fades to a thin ring. Nose is fantastic-- chocolate, cinnamon, coffee, and vanilla pervade. Slight toasty bread undertones. Thick to medium thick body, sweet chocolate, and vanilla flavors up front, followed by cinnamon and slight coffee bitterness beer finishes a litttle hot.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2014 3/31/14. Growler from the brewery. Everyone said I HAD to get this one. When pouring from the growler into my glass, a small drip ran down the side of the growler... Well I of course licked that drip. I grew up pretty poor, you know, so I donít waste. That lick almost sky rocketed me into heaven. Those folks that have visited this brewery in passing and havenít tried their more creative offerings donít know what they are missing. Yeah, Iím talking to you, PorterPounder and DialSquare! ;) Anyway, this pours pitch black with a 2-finger tan head that cuts in half but absolutely COATS the glass. Pretty tasty aroma, the cinnamon hits strong but with plenty of vanilla to back it up and lots of nice rich stout aspects to back it up - toasty, chocolate, doses of coffee. Nice. The flavor is amazing. Wow. Cinnamon and vanilla mingle with coffee and chocolate in this insane balance of sweet, vanilla, roast, coffee, and even almost spicy from cinnamon. The breath out afterwards is like a delicious vanilla cinnamon bun but with a nice sip of black coffee immediately following to balance it out. The cinnamon lingers nicely. Another home run - this is amazing.

Had this one on draft at the brewery. The descprition said "Donít be a little b**** about the cinnamon." I donít know who would. The cinnamon adds so much to this beer. The aroma is loaded with cinnamon and vanilla. It reminded me of a freshly baked cinnamon bun. The taste lived perfectly up to the aroma. The mouthfeel was slick which I am assuming is attributed to the possible addition of oatmeal during the brewing process. Donít quote me on that though because I am not certain if that is what they use. This is what a breakfast stout should be. Overall this is one of the best breakfast stouts Iíve had.
