oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Dec 29, 2006 Bottled (thanks Bov!). Golden/copper mixed colour with huge fluffy white head. Aroma is herbs, cooked vegetables and slight fruits. Flavour is strong grassy hops with a finish of herbs. Very bitter, not a pilsener or IPA, but as Bov says, very hard to categorize. I would say bitter or vienna...
Allen (644), Wölflinswil, Switzerland Aug 12, 2008 Bottled 33cl. 5.0 ABV. It pours a beautiful amber beer with a nice off white head. The nose is of malt, banana, almonds, cereals, hops and cherries. Sweet fruity taste with a huge amount of cherries and almonds showing up - wonderful. Some banana sneaking in. Rather salty. Medium bodied. Good lacework. Bitter salty finish with hints of almonds and cherries. fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jun 2, 2008 Courtesy of Philippe (Bov) Beautiful amber color, nice perlage. It has a quite good malt aroma, with some cereals. The cereals are more evident in the flavor; there is some malt and caramel too; it has a round mouthfeel. The bitterness is correct. A well executed English Ale, when other British brewery can’t bottle an equally good product. MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Jan 14, 2008 Bottle, 5.2%. Nice yeasty aroma. Hazy grey orange colour. Slightly fruity aroma. The flavour is naturtrüby, yeasty. Not much to say about it, but süffig. Papsoe (10500), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 2, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Bov. Hazy, dark amber golden with a nice, off-white head leaving some lacework. Lightly sweet caramelish nose. Medium body with roasted malt and caramel with a dry finish.
