3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bov (8158) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 27, 2006
UPDATED: FEB 1, 2007 recipe by the contract brewer "Augenbrauerei" in Biel/Bienne - pours a hazy amber colour under a solid, persistant foam; a robust herbal hoppiness with some light fruity tones underneath (cherry, grape); a medium malt backbone, a solid bitterness takes the power and persists very long, lasting for a long time after you are finished with your beer; more strong herbal notes are met in the aftertaste - a nice beer which is hard to categorize (a sort of crossover between a pils and an IPA)
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Allen (2670) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 12, 2008
Bottled 33cl. 5.0 ABV. It pours a beautiful amber beer with a nice off white head. The nose is of malt, banana, almonds, cereals, hops and cherries. Sweet fruity taste with a huge amount of cherries and almonds showing up - wonderful. Some banana sneaking in. Rather salty. Medium bodied. Good lacework. Bitter salty finish with hints of almonds and cherries.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TBone (9999) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 29, 2006
Bottled (BB 11/2006)
Dark amber color, huge cloudy brownish head, lace. Slightly herbal, grassy nose. Light to medium-bodied. Graperuit bitterness is mixed with fruity and yeasty notes. Hops raise nicely in the aftertaste. This is a pilsener here in RB, but I would say that this is more like an ale, bitter maybe.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2008
Courtesy of Philippe (Bov) Beautiful amber color, nice perlage. It has a quite good malt aroma, with some cereals. The cereals are more evident in the flavor; there is some malt and caramel too; it has a round mouthfeel. The bitterness is correct. A well executed English Ale, when other British brewery can’t bottle an equally good product.
