COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, 60cl. Pours deep golden, amber-ish color with a small off-white head. Moderate malty and caramel aroma, hay, cereal, raisin in the middle with a decent floral and hoppy note to finish. Flavor is medium malt sweet, light-medium hops with floral and fruits. Average body, oily texture with warming alcoholic-feeling in its finish. Okay strong ale, not much more.

JanLaursen (2731) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2013
Bottle, 60 cl, as Skanderborg Smukfestival Bøgeøl. Beautiful deep reddish golden with a small but stable white head. Aroma is mostly malty with light flowery hoppy notes. Toasted malty flavor, light sweet, leading to a bitter finish. Well balanced and easy drinkable, but the hops are somewaht dusty floral, probably English, and only faintly light citrussy.
