Cask @ Cockney Pub, Aarhus. Black with a lasting and dense light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and notes of cherries. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. Smooth. This is apparently the first cask ale made by Aarhus Bryghus, and it’s surprisingly good. 290912

From cask at Cockney. Pours black with a small, creamy and tan head. Aroma is fruity and toasted malty. Bitter, light fruity and dark roasted malty. Lingering mild fruity into a dry and roasted malty finish.

Handpump @ Cockney Pub’s 10 years anniversary party. Pours black with a creamy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, caramel, hints of sweet fruit / cherry. Flavor of malts, little coffee, chocolate, caramel, cherries. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Best Århus Bryghus beer yet. 290912

Cask/hand-pump @ Cockney. Very dark brown with medium creamy tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and notes of cherries. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, little liquorice, medium sweet, hop, little bitter and notes of cherries.
