Danish: Et eksempel på en anderledes øl. En af barerne i Skolegade, Escobar, ønskede at fejre at de havde været åbne i 6 år, 6 måneder og 6 uger med de nuværende ejere. De henvendte sig til os og spurgte om ikke vi kunne lave et “djævlebryg” til dem. Resultatet blev ovenstående, en frisk, rød frugtøl, som vi kun har lavet i meget begrænset mængde og som vi testede til et heavy-metal arrangement “In for the Kill”, og som Escobar havde på hanerne til deres jubilæum.

Clear medium orange red colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, virtualli none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, fruity, earthy - damp stain - fusty, metalic notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20110526]

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange to amber with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and caramelish. Flavour subdued fruity, toasted caramelish and vague yeasty. Light bitter and mild fruity finish.

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Clear orange red coloured with a small off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and burnt sugar with notes of berries. Sweet and fruity flavour of hops and berries. Hoppy finish.

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Hazy deep orange colour with a small quite quickly disappearing head. Aroma is sweet malts, some fruits and berries along with some yeastyness. Flavour is malts, yeast, fruits, berries and some slight bloodlike metallic notes. Rather sweet finish and aftertaste.
