3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 madsberg (8819) - Søborg, DENMARK - APR 16, 2006
Bottled: Pale yellow to golden coloured. Cleaer. Dense white head. Sweet, grassy and light fruity aroma. Quite vague. Flavour as well is on the sweet and fruity side. Would have expected a bit more power. Has some herbal and grassy hops notes, but not much. Is medium bodied and ends on a light bitter note. Wouldn’t have guessed this to be a dobbelbock.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 saxo (11254) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 26, 2006
Bottle. Nice creamy head, and that’s about all the positive there is to say about this "doppelbock". This was better to compare with a regular pale lager.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 HenrikSoegaard (9148) - Randers, DENMARK - MAR 25, 2006
Bottle. Frothy white mostly lasting head. Pale yellow colour. Not as bad medicinearoma as other aarhus bryghus, but it is still there. Heavy acetic flavor and sour finish. Very watery regarding ABV. Soft carbonated.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 FrankJohansen (3596) - Sabro, DENMARK - MAR 24, 2006
Doppelbock my ... Niels Buchwald never stops surprising. This is no way a doppelbock. Not much taste, not much aroma. Did it once, never doing it again. Why this brewery still exists is beyond me.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Storm (2685) - Amager, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2006
60 cl bottle. Aroma of malt, sweetness and hints of hops. Malty flavour with notes of hops and malt, very dull and average.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 oli (108) - DENMARK - MAR 19, 2006
This is an uninspiring, boring easter beer from one of Denmarks most uninspiring microbrewery.Every thing about this beer is sub standard. It´s so boring,i can´t be bovered to write any more.......
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 unibaren (153) - 8000 Århus C, DENMARK - MAR 17, 2006
Faint vegetablelike aroma. Head is huge and lasting - but a little uneven - on this one with nice lacings. Colour is clear golden with lots of carbonation. To me there don’t appear to be much taste in this one, except for a nice strong bitterness in the aftertaste. It’s an o.k. beer and very pleasant, but I am not (except for the alcoholcontent) thinking bock when I drink this one - more like Royal Spring (which I guess is intentional).
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 16, 2006
(Bottle 60 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a small, creamy, white head. Fresh, lightly floral nose. Full-bodied with plenty of pale malts and a high degree of sweetness - perhaps a bit too high. Very fruity - perhaps even floral - accents from some rather lovely aroma hops. The brewer calls this a "Pale Doppeltbock". Quite interesting. 160306
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2008 2008-06-24, 6-2-6-3-13=30 Pale blond color. Quite nice aroma of hop and cereals. Sweetish cereals flavor. Maybe not exciting, but peasant.
2006-03-15, 7-2-7-3-14=33 Pale blond color. The aroma is vegetable, flowery, maybe fruity. The taste as well is original, with good body strength, sweet enough; warming. Strange, but not bad.
