Clear black, small beige head. Good roasted aroma with chocolate and coffee notes and late booze. Similar flavour, gets pretty boozy. Quite ok but lacks body to support the alc.

Helt ok stout. Fin mørk ristet smag, udseende og aroma. Dejlig at drikke rimelig kold og i godt selskab. Måske lidt for 'doven' - måtte gerne havd lidt mere liv (kulsyre)... Men helt ok.

60cl bottle. Pours a dark mahogany color. Slight tan head, little lacing. Aroma is malty, with some roasty notes. Flavor is yeasty, with alcohol flavor and some roasted notes. Palate is thin for an imperial stout. Overall a decent beer, but I’ve had better imperial stouts.

Bottle. Pours a jet black body with a medium creamy off-white head. Nose is licorice, coffee, leather and hints of dark malts and Kalhua coffe liqueur. Taste is coffee, licorice, roasted bread, mild caramel and hints of leather and soy sauce. Medium to full body, medium to high carbonation. Tasty and straightforward imperial stout, a sort of classic "Danish" composition of tastes with no big surprises.

Bottle, 60 cl. Gift from work - thanks! Pours brown, towards black colour with a creamy, but small beige head. Sweet, roasted, dark malty aroma with caramel, coffee and tobacco and smoke to the "sense" of it. Dusty and quite intense as it warms. Flavour is diversified, but with very light present of each taste. Little bit of chocolate, roasted malt, bitterness, dried fruits (raisin/figs), dusty, almost earthy hobs, acid sourness in middle notes. Burned smokey as well. Ends bit dry, metallic and bitter in a decent long finish. Body is medium-full, texture light-average with lively carbonation. Perhaps a bit unfocused to be really great. Still quite alright.

Starts bitter, then roasted coffee beans and a little chocolate and then the taste just vanishes shortly afterwards. Seems overall light and boring for an imperial stout.

Bottle. 8.0%. Best before 05.15. Pours a clear, dark brown with a (light) tan head. Good lacing. Roasted aroma, with hints of coffee and chocolate. A bit dusty. Light tobacco/ash tray note as it warms. Flavour is a bit tart, and roasted with chocolate and faint nougat notes. Not very intense though. Remote metallic note/overtone as it warms. Mildly bitter finish, somewhat tart, with a light tobacco/ash tray note. Lingering spicy note. A bit too much carbonation. Overall okay, if nothing special. Lacks some character. 20.02.14.
