COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Klosterbryg er brygget på pilsnermalt, hvedemalt og karamelmalt. Det er krydret med tre forskellige typer af aromahumle, som matcher maltene. Dette er en øl med 6% alkohol, som er i stil med India Pale Ale.

God color and okay head, round feel in the mouth a bit fruity. Slightly watery and a bir too bitter for me.

Look; off white head, deep golden body, slightly unclear, and thin fine covering lacing all way down the mug. Aroma; fresh malts of barley and sweet wheat too, flowers, coriander, apple, citric banana. Taste; fruity malts, bread, yellow apple, dust, caramel - but short finish. Body ok, nice on palate. Tasteful, ’märzen’ impression, or landbier maybe. [60cl brown bottle, abv6%, BB.jan2016. B@Vinmonopolet]

DAAIÅ; Tap at Peter Gift. Poured moderate, frothy, hazy gold with a fading white head. Nose is moderat malt, light honey and spice. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter with a somewhat lasting grainy, orange, honey finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft to avarage.

Flaske 600ml fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Langnes. Gyldenbrun. Brukbart skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Aroma av malt. Smaken søtlig malt med hint av sitrus. Litt tynn - men fungerte fint som matøl.

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Norway, on order (bu). Clear deep golden color, good foam. Medium/low aroma intensity;some fruitiness, light honey , some stale cardboard, malt and very light hops. Medium body & complexity. Some immediate sweetness, a little bitterness but ends up on the sweet side. OK enough beer

Overraskede mig positivt, dog uden at imponere. Mine forventninger var heller ikke høje, efter at have smagt Aarhus Bryghus' forårsbryg (som skuffede). Tydeligt engelsk inspireret øl - med dets lidt doven fremtoning. Noget jeg rigtig godt kan lide. Derfor 3,5 herfra :-)

Amber with white head. Bottled. Klosterbryg indicating a belgian inspiration but unfortunately just a plain strong ale. Aroma and taste weak malty. And why english hopps in an ale with abbey in the name?

23.08.2014, 0,6l bottle shared with friends @ home:
Small slightly bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, nuts, grain, caramel malts, hay, almonds, boiled vegetables, cellar, cereal, weeds. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, hay, weeds, harsh grain, nuts, flowers, yeast, paper, boiled vegetables, minerals, caramel. Medium bitterness, harsh watery mouthfeel. Boring.
