<i>Bottled.</i> Golden colour, average head. Sweet and soft, lightly grassy. No extravaganzas on the 170th birthday it seems.

<b>Bottle</b> pours light straw with a large frothy white head.   Decent carbonation, decent lacing.   Aroma is of straw and weak malts.   A tad bit musty too.   Flavor is quite weak, a tad sweet, mild malts.   Not crisp, a minor hint of sweetness.   Finish falls flat, jumps ship rather quickly.   For a 170^th Anniversary Ale, I would have expected a bit more. <br /><br />
