Nice malty aroma, some apple/fruit and burnt coffee. Very drinkable, typical smooth sweet bock mouthfeel. Complex but distant flavour.

I didn’t find this beer to be interesting at all. It was malty, definately a bock. But not a whole lot of body or flavor.

Malty aroma.Deep tawney appearance.Creamy, burnt malt, winey flavour.Dark malt finish. It was a bit too malty for me I may have drank this one too cold.

Dark red color with a creamy tan top. Aroma is amazing, chocolate with nuts, plenty of malt and caramel. Body is nicely sweet with a great chewy malt presence. Notes of licorice, nuts and a touch of smoke make this a top notch bock! Light iron notes in the palate detract points making it a few points below celebrator. Excellent.

Smells like someone’s making fudge. Reddish-brown body, chewy, burnt caramel, molasses, semi-sweet chocolate. Finish is slightly bitter and clean. Tasty on this cold and wet Ohio October night.

Deep red brown color. Medium foamy head. Coffee and chocolate aroma. Full bodied bock. Malty and hoppy. Malts are slightly sweet. Coffee and chocolate flavor. Nice balance. Full flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and slightly dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, a very slight alcohol bite in the aftertaste. Nice bock.

red-brown color. not much nose. medium to thick body - but not as malty as other bocks. flavors are subtle - lightly roasted barley, bit of dark fruit, touch of candy-sugar sweetness. only slightly bitter. definitely a bit different than usual for the style - almost like a bock with belgian influences. the whole thing works quite well though - very nice.

Pours much like a cola, but with a creamier, more lasting head; translucent. I found the nose big and sweet and earthy; flavor is a good match, slightly burnt and smoked in the middle and somewhat acidic and hoppier at the end. Very warming. Well-above average bock.
