3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 thewolf (8621) - Kolding, DENMARK - FEB 17, 2007
Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a thin, but quite creamy head. Aroma has lots of malts - roasted and caramel. Flavour is sweet. Actually a quite complex set of flavours. Starts of as a malty sweetness, then turns slightly smoky and roasted. As it goes down a slight viniousness remains as well as a citric bitterness. A touch of metallic that will probably disappear as i heats up in the glass.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Maria (8568) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 2, 2007
The head is nice, creamy and lasting. The aroma is malty/roasted malt. At first the flavour is rather sweet, but then it’s accompanied by a nice bitterness (an a brief watery feeling) , that has notes of hops, licorice and roasted malt. A nice surprise, but drink it cold, otherwise it’s too sweet.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Christian (8548) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2011
Ruby brown colour with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of bready malt, slightly toasted and with a fruity note. Sweetish malt and toffee flavour with fruity character
