0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 Dougal (130) - Escondido, California, USA - SEP 18, 2002For a lager, it isn’t that great, even for a Vienna Style lager. This is certainly not the best Norway has to offer and I would recommend against seeking this light malt, skunk nosed brew out. Seek out their Bock.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Palme (2311) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 14, 2011
0.5l can. Pours a clear golden orange body with a slowly fading white bubbly lager head lacing down the glass. Aroma is quite strong caramel malts with some vain notes of (almost fruity) hops. A bit light bodied and medium+ carbonated. Starts off with a decent strong lager-bitter taste with a lasting maltiness aftertaste. Some pungent metallic notes that I don’t especially like though, but still a decent Norwegian pale lager.
