larsga (2132), Oslo, Norway Jan 5, 2006 Big head of fine lace, pale copper body with some ongoing carbonation.
Nice aroma of pine-like hops, with notes of metal and grain. Crisp,
clean taste of caramel malts; soft aftertaste of pine-like hops. Not
that much taste to this one, but what there is is very clean and nice;
for a Norwegian lager this is pretty good.
johnnyola (12), Australia Mar 20, 2008 A beer with some flavour and a fairly malty nose. Pale, plain and average. Lingers a bit, but short BDR (1862), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Sep 20, 2007 Thanks to akevitt for sharing. Grainy nose and light honey color. Faint head. A little bitter hop on the finish. JK (2392), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Sep 15, 2007 This one is OK. Corn and other adjuncts in the nose, but it doesn’t smell bad. Trace of hops in the flavor along with more corn. Akevitt was good to share. joebrew (604), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Sep 14, 2007 Thanks to Akevitt for sharing. Pours a bright golden, with a huge white head. Nice grainy sweet biscuity malt on the nose. Actually very tasty with a good dose of citrus and grainy biscuity malt. Better than the score shows. Mes_and_Sim (4176), London, Greater London, England Sep 1, 2007 A Mes rate:
Can at RBESG. Last beer of the tasting and what a way to finish! Oh the Fat Ol’ Ass jokes! Great for a giggle. Not great for drinking.
