3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 gnoff (5001) - Göteborg, - MAR 6, 2006
Tried it on can and on cask in Hemsedal, Norway. Golden color and a white head. Very fresh hoppy scent, much to my surprise. The taste came as the scent did, very hoppy compared to my expectations. Even though the name indeed sounds funny in the English language, it’s a nice well made beer. Easy to drink and enjoyable. After getting a bit drunk on the Viking party it was of course amazingly funny to shout "Nice Aass" and drink all night long...

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Palme (1437) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 8, 2011
0.33l bottle. Pours a clear pale golden body with a thin white lager head quickly sticking to the sides of the glass. Aroma is your typical lager: Light and dusty hops with a thin malty aroma. Also something that reminds me of autumn. Don’t ask what it is, but it smells like the autumn does. Body is light, texture watery and carbonation is average. A decent bitterness all the way from the start to the end with a mild metallic finish and a thin buttery aftertaste. An absolutely OK lager with a good bitterness, but not much more than that.
