2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 khhoeie (14) - NORWAY - OCT 15, 2011
Given the fact that this is a regular grocery shop beer in Norway, it is actually acceptable and respectable.
When I need some beer and I don’t feel like going to the Norwegian Wine Monopoly to buy some of the good and expensive stuff, I find it being quite a liveable option buying this at the store just a five-minute walk from my flat :-)

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 stunetii (90) - Bergen, NORWAY, NORWAY - AUG 10, 2011
Can. Overall, this pale ale has some decent qualities, but largely in the appearance. But, it most certainly exceeded my expectations. It starts out with an amber-colored body and a rather large slightly off-white head. The head itself is rather well retained, with lacing that clings tightly to the side of the glass. All-in-all, the body looks to be pretty robust. The nose is fairly aromatic: largely sweet, with hints of grass and metal. The mouth feel is rather watery. The taste is decent: a bit malty (too much for a pale ale perhaps), caramel and slightly metallic. All-in-all, it’s a decent beer with pretty good taste, but certainly not full of flavors that one might a expect from a pale ale.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 tfredvik (296) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 3, 2011
A clear light brown body with a small, fairly long-lived, off-white, creamy, dense head that leaves plenty of lacing. Malty and light hoppy aroma, with caramel, berries and fruits. Is it citrus and raspberries that are buried deep in there somewhere? The taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter, and also some metallic sourness. Rather boring flavour profile: some caramel and very faint fruits. To my surprise the carbonation is very soft. The ale has a light body and close to watery texture. The overall feel is ok, but a bit artificial, synthetic and metallic.
