0.5L can, abv 4.7%, Energy per 100 ml : 171.9kJ or 41 kcal., b@Eurospar.
Off-white caramellish head, a sprangled curtain of lacings, bright copper coloured body (or dark amber), clear.
Scents; hops, malts, roasted malts, hints of whisky.
Taste; roasted caramellic malts, hops in the background.
Medium to palate, slightly watery only.
Ending; still malt, also a little hops and tiny grainy mild bitterness.
Overall mediocre plus - probably food-friendly.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Sample at Bergen Ølfestival 2014.
Light copper with a small head. Sweet with metal, some fruit and vegetables. Boring and light. Wonder where the hops went?

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Pours a clear light amber, with a small beige head. Aromas are stale, and mainly caramel, metal, and esters; no hop aromas at all, which is odd for a pale ale. Taste is quite sweet, and very bitter, but not the hoppy kind of bitter, but rather an unpleasant acrid and tannic bitterness. The mouthfeel is light and sparkly. This beer is awful.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can at home. Pours a clear, dark amber colour with a medium, light beige head. Malty aroma of dried fruit, leather and some metal. The flavour is quite similar and is pretty light. Has a slick and watery mouth feel, and a light bitterness. Has a decent aroma but the rest is a bit boring and thin.

Caramel and some fruits in the aroma. Amber with a off white head. Medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Light to medium body with a soft carbonation. Overall this is quite boring, but drinkable.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Again a heavily carbonated ale from Aass that starts of with a heavy head. The taste, aroma and mouthfeel, however, is quite far from any pale ale style. Although drinkable, this is not a very successful ale.
