2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 31, 2007
Bottled at RBESG ’07. Dark brown. Ashy nose. Very dry with clean mouthfeel and muddled roasty malt flavours. Very subtle and understated. Low bitterness. A pale lager with some black malt?
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 Rastacouere (5918) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 2, 2007
Clear dark brown. Light white head. Very lightly roasty, just sugary nose. Feels like a lager in mouth, bland caramel flavour profile with the thinnest chocolate hints. Very thin and watery. Nothing stoutish about this candy of a beer.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Smaskifa (76) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 8, 2008
Large head, dissappears fast. Smell of coffee. A lot of taste of coffee. sweet caramel and some hints of licorice far away, slightly hoppy finish. A bit watery and dull taste, not very much to enjoy. A ok beer if you can’t find anything else just before closing time.
