2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Cunningham (2972) - Halden, NORWAY - JUN 27, 2012
Light hazy golden colour with a white head. Light fruity nose. A light dull malty and fruity flavour. I expected a litte bit more out of this 5.5%. It is not bad, but not good either. Actually quite pale.... [Bottle at Dags Euro 2012 beerfest]
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 gyllenbock (2967) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 3, 2012
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Ålesund, bought in September 2012.
Clear golden with a large white head. Sweet aroma and taste of malt, honey and some light notes of citrus. Also notes of metal. Drinkable but boring. I think that I had drunk a beer like this before.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 austinpowers (2827) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 25, 2003
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2003 This is a tasteless lager not worthy of any more of my time than I've already spent typing this. Forgettable in every way. I tasted no sweetness, or hints of anything. Those who detect fruit, cinnamon or whatever else are better men than me.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 ClubGonzo (2695) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 11, 2010
Yet another one in the Norwegian "Gull" (Gold) series of stronger lagers. For some reason, this has been categorized as a pale lager, whereas its counterparts from the other macros in Norway are in the "Premium Lager" category. Personally, I really don’t see any difference between them. Aass Gull manages to avoid the imbalanced alcohol-feel haunting the others of the series, but then again it is also 1 % ABV lower than the rest of the field. Like the other "gull"-beers, this is a rather boring, mediocre lager beer and nothing more.
1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Storm (2685) - Amager, DENMARK - AUG 19, 2006
33 cl bottle. No yeast at the bottom. Golden clear colour with a very little head. Very malty aroma with hints of fruitness from the hops. Also fruity flavour with notes of maltness, ends up light and dull.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Palme (2234) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 14, 2011
0.33l bottle. Pours a clear unfiltered golden body with a small sidesticking bubbly white head. Aroma has some malts, sweet corn-like notes, and some watery hops. Not much more than that. Average carbonation, soft oily mouthfeeling and medium to light-bodied. Mild malty flavors with a distinct corn-like flavor. Ends mildly bitter, kinda watery and heavily boring.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Gr0ve (2038) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 17, 2007
330 ml bottle. Deep golden colour. Clear. Tall creamy white head that clings to the glass. Rounded floral aroma with a hint of delicate malts. Crisp carbonation then gentle bittering hops. Feels a bit thinner than expected. Light malts and surprisingly little maltiness. Hints of green fruits and a little soda pop. Lacks character as it is the carbonation that stands out. Disappointing.
