2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Tequilakongen (263) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 20, 2011
Slight bitterness in taste, very little aroma. Colour is very clear, a small white head forms. Better than most Norwegian pilseners. (50 cl bottle)
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 daje (520) - NORWAY - AUG 2, 2011
Bottle, 1 day after expiry date.
Pale golden, medium white head.
Malty aroma, caramel and grain. Actually a bit sour taste of pilsnermalt and hops, ends with same sour taste.
One day beyond exp date can’t really explain the sourness?
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 abemorsten (1201) - Randaberg, NORWAY - MAY 7, 2011
Bottle kindly shared by Sigmund. Short lived, frothy, white film on a clear golden body. Esters and sugars in the aroma. Bitter and acidic aroma. Light body. Heavy carbonation. Dry finish. Unbalanced and soulless.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Palme (1200) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 7, 2011
0.5l bottle. Pours a crystal clear pale yellow body with a creamy quickly fading white head. Aromas are pale malts and slightly floral. Tastes not that much, but you get a weak malty base with faint hints of metallic hops. Medium carbonation and light bodied. Not much more to say I guess..

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ClubGonzo (1732) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 13, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2010 Pours a standard-looking lager body. Thin, disappearing top. Smell is light malts and not much else. Taste is, however, unexpectedly fruity, with hints of red currants mixed with light malts and a well-balanced hop bitterness background. Smooth and drinkable, Aass Halling simply makes for a good round of pilsner, if not much else.
