2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 larsga (5325) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 12, 2006
Huge offwhite creamy head with some lace. Light copper body. Very little aroma. Maybe a little grain. Clean, light, malty taste, with some caramel and watery grain. Faintly grassy hop background. Aftertaste is slight bitterness with a touch of grass. A decent effort, but it’s not clear why they bother. The design of the can is the most distinctive thing about this beer. (0.5l can.)

Bottled. Golden, with a small white head. Mild, malty aroma with butterscotch and a hint of roastiness. The flavor is sweet, malty with butterscotch and some hops. Medium body. Nothing offensive about it, other than its boring. (060410)
1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 KnutAlbert (5186) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 22, 2006
Very similar to their Lundetangen, of not identical (A little difference in the colour.) I don’t know why they bother with all these pilsners and don’t have a shot at something better instead. Theri Chrismtas beers show they can....
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 joergen (17353) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 28, 2005
Yellow colour with small white head.
Hoppy aroma with notes of malt. Malty flavour with notes of hops and fruit.
Quite ordinary pilsener.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 28, 2004
Can pours pale yellow with a small milky head. Decent carbonation, minor lacing. Aroma is of straw and weak malt. Taste is much the same cept perhaps a hint of butter. Finish is fairly metallic. Overall the flavor is extremely light, body is severely thin. Not one of the better Aass offerings.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 CapFlu (4010) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 14, 2003
(5oo ml can) Pours a large, cramy, white head and a highly-carbonated, golden body. Slight metallic nose blends with malt. Fruity malt flavour with a slight lactic finish. Average.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 omhper (17478) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 11, 2003
Bottled. Pale golden, rich head. Fruity and rounded. Aass pleasant, firm malt character is there, but too little of it. Some acidity, low bitterness.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Sigmund (4203) - Tau, NORWAY - SEP 20, 2002
The Norwegian valley Hallingdal has from ancient times been famous for its strong homebrew and subsequent knife-fights. Aass Bryggeri’s Halling beer is an insult to the proud people of Hallingdal. It’s a lousy pils with little or no character besides being far too sweet. (Sampled 0,5 liter can.)
