Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, fruity, light to light moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20100827]
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 omhper (15600) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 4, 2010
Bottled in Trysil. Clear pale golden, small head. Dryish and fruity, light bodied with clean, rouned mouthfeel. Mildly malty with low hop rate and no bitterness. Rather edgeless. A weak effort by Aass, but their malt structure is quite superior to most commercial brewers, so the even their Ice Beer is pretty drinkable.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Gr0ve (1756) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 13, 2008
500 ml can. Pale golden colour. Tall fine-laced white head that clings to the glass. Lots of bubbles rising to the surface. Clean, but subdued, malt aroma. Grainy flavours, much like found in their non-alcohol Uten. Light-bodied and very clean. The graininess is appropriate as it increases the complexity of this otherwise non-complex beer. Floral hops with a decent hop bitteness. OK, but of course entirely meaningless as its other cousins.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 larsga (4435) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 5, 2006
Smallish, normal-laced white head, which subsides quite quickly. Pale
copper body with some solitary bubbles floating upwards. Hardly any
aroma; can faintly detect some caramel malts, but that’s it. Very
faint and watery taste; only in the aftertaste can a vague malt and
hop taste be detected. Very, very boring.

(Can 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Sweetish, malty aroma. Fairly sweet mouthfeel, medium body with malty and lightly fruity notes. Very limited hoppiness in the finish. Quite a decent lager with lovely Emperor penguins on the can. 181106

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 DruncanVeasey (4800) - NUNEATON, Conference North, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2009
Handsome penguin-adorned silver tin swigged in Vigeland Park. No idea what the contents looks like. Slick creamy m/f, hay, flour, discreet honeyish aroma. Clean and faint with grass and almond milkiness, some clinging....erm, hop? Bitterness, anyway. Not digging the slushy fat feel of this at all. Watery, nitrogenous, but generally so inoffensive it’s barely there..
