tfredvik (1208) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 26, 2014
Crystal clear, dark copper body with a long-lived off-white head. Malty, sweet and moderate aroma of wort and malt extract. Moderate flavour of malt extract, wort and caramel. Moderate sweet taste with a finish that actually has a touch of bitterness! Better than most non-alcoholic lighter beers, but I’d prefer a Coke.
[33 cl bottle, enjoyed 9 months before BB date, from Meny Kringsjå, Oslo]

visionthing (2989) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 14, 2014
33cl bottle. Pours deep amber to chestnut coloured with a tanned head. Fairly mild aroma of wort and malt with notes of dark bread and hints of herbs. Sweet and grainy with a watery wort flavour and a light bitterness. Slightly better than the similar Munkholm, but again I would prefer ’vørterøl’ to this watery and pretty flavourless stuff.

Smak: God smak av vørter og en anelse krydder.

Klar brunorange med høyt offwhite skum. Malt, bær og mineralsk lukt. Kjenner den søte malten og skogsbæ, også litt metallisk smak. Medium kullsyre

djoeye (1855) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 5, 2013
33 cl brown bottle b@Eurospar Tomasjord Tromsø. Deep red-brown body with a moderate light beige head, some lacings inside the mug. Rich scents of malts, dark bread crust, spices, caramel, butter. Tastes sweet malts, bread, hops, grains, a little honey hint, a bit as wort-beer. Not so good ending, with sourish malts. Overall alright, but didn’t meet expectations made by scents.

Ok low alcohol beer, but not when you take into consideration that it’s supposed to be christmas beer. Honey and caramel, and overall malty domination.
