Bottle from Lerøy Mat, Bergen. Pours a clear, bronze body with a small, quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is caramel and slightly roasted malts with some faint sour notes. Taste is mildly roasted malts with hints of caramel and grassy hops. Some metallic hints. Well balanced, but ultimately a pretty boring Christmas beer in my opinion.

Nice amber pour. Nose had slight caramel. Taste is almost pure malt. Too much of it to discern much else. Rated 6/23/02

Amber with off white head - caramel malt some bitternes from hop - ok beer

Bottles. Actually, several. Pours dark reddish brown with a finger of light tan head that fades fast. Some lace. Aroma is sweet, caramel and roasted notes, some burnt sugar. A metallic bitterness saves it from being overly sweet. Body is quite light, a bit too thin. Carbonation a bit too sparkly. Otherwise, it’s not bad. Tasty, but plain.

Bottled @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours light brown with a big white head. Sweet caramel aroma, taste is the same, mild,smooth and a distinct bitter finish, not bad.

Can 50 cl. Dark amber, clear with a small lightbrown head, Aroma; Mild sweet malty and caramel. Flavor; troasted malt and caramel, ligth bitter ending, ok.

500ml can. Golden brown body with copper hold head. Sweet caramel and fruity taste and aroma.
