COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sweet, caramel aroma. Clean, crisp taste, and an almost dry aftertaste. Interesting and complex. Very flavorful with strong malt presence.

0.33l bottle from Meny. Pours a nice dark brown-red body with a quite thin quickly disappearing head. Nose is fresh fruits and burned malts - otherwise quite anonymous. Tastes quite blend. Some malt, thin caramel and week leather hints. Finishes off with a small bitter ending. All in all; Quite boring. (could have sworn the alcohol percentage was 4,7 - not 4,5 but that’s another story)

"2010 edition", bottle from local store. Pours a brown brew with an off-white head which quickly disappears. Nose is sweet. Aroma has hints of licorice, dark sweet fruits, malt. Good mouthfeel, but slightly watery. Nice balance, not sickeningly sweet. Pretty good "grocery store juleĝl", but not very exciting.

ClubGonzo (4240) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 26, 2010
Bottle from Lerĝy Mat, Bergen. Pours a clear, bronze body with a small, quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is caramel and slightly roasted malts with some faint sour notes. Taste is mildly roasted malts with hints of caramel and grassy hops. Some metallic hints. Well balanced, but ultimately a pretty boring Christmas beer in my opinion.

A brown coulored beer Aroma; Some corn on the nose, maybe some caramell? Flavour; Same as the aromas, with some hops and caramell. Too high carbonation

Nice amber pour. Nose had slight caramel. Taste is almost pure malt. Too much of it to discern much else. Rated 6/23/02

Bottles. Actually, several. Pours dark reddish brown with a finger of light tan head that fades fast. Some lace. Aroma is sweet, caramel and roasted notes, some burnt sugar. A metallic bitterness saves it from being overly sweet. Body is quite light, a bit too thin. Carbonation a bit too sparkly. Otherwise, it’s not bad. Tasty, but plain.
