COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sweet, caramel aroma. Clean, crisp taste, and an almost dry aftertaste. Interesting and complex. Very flavorful with strong malt presence.

To me, this is what a Norwegian beer is. They don’t smack you in the face, but have well rounded, very satisfying flavours. Decent head, nice colour, excellent flavour. Bottle.

I think the commercial description is pretty accurate. Deep copper color. Definate sweetness. Smooth finish. Not a huge fan though. Something just didn’t work for me.

Much sweeter than expected. Needs a better balance of hops.

Sweet aroma, beautiful chestnut color, very little head, sweet hoppiness with lite carbonation and dry finish. Excellent brew.

From bottle. Brown, clear. Surprisingly refreshing for a christmas beer. Well balanced sweetness and bitterness with nice fruity aromas.

Without the extra fullness and balance more alcohol strong beers provides, it was to unbalanced for me. It still has a good Christmas feel, with some roasted malt, caramel, spice and a nice touch of Christmas baking. This is also one of the more full-bodied beers from Norwegian grocery stores, even if it does not give enough balance.

very complex taste, smooth and very malty. The hints of spices in this one are very interesting indeed, a good surprise to your tastebuds!!!
