Pours an offwhite head with a dark amber color body. The head disappears relatively quickly. Aroma of malt, spice and biscuit. Thin palate with a metallic mouthfeel. Ok beer but not overly impressed. I miss some roastyness and caramel malt aroma sice this is a "juleøl".

Dark amber, chestnut color, medium head, some lacing. Faint aroma of caramel, malt and some dried fruits. Thin body and taste. Sweet, fruity, some bitter and alcohol finish. One of those boozy bockbiers.

Thanks to Cunningham for this bottle. Nice smooth malty nose. The beer starts smooth, sweetish caramel malt. Spices, molasses, not much bitterness. Smooth my, not too deep. Nice and easy to drink.

This is an old bottle, probably from 2011 (the bottle says expired 27/10-13). Enjoyed at home. This is the old version that is 6,5% alcohol and has the old red label on the dark bottle. Theres a short lasting tan head, but the aroma is where it’s at! Malty caramel candies, sherry, port, sweet wine, dark fruits, milk chocolate and spiced bread. Mouthfeel is incredible with flavors that has become almost vinous: chocolate, spiced bread, raisins, coffee and more dark fruits. It has a dry finish with a bitterness that has faded with time, but the sweetness fits the beer very well in these christmastimes. As you see by this review, store some bottles, they age incredibly well!

Deep amber-copper body, tall tan head, some rims as lacing. Aroma; sweet dark malts, berries, dark bread, crusts. Taste; dark sweet malts, prunes, berry peels, kvas notes, clove spikes, ginger, soft spices. Finishes dark, lingering, sweet n nice. Feels normal bodied, softly carbonated. Overall good bock, good for yuletide. [33cl brown bottle, abv6.5%, B@Vinmonopolet, 5€, BB23.09.15, T@höme]
