Nice light amber color with a fine thick off white head. Beautiful caramel nose with light spices in the background. Rich in the mouth with a carmel, charcoal and cream flavor profile. Quite rich but a nice treat.

330 ml bottle. Clear reddish brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma is light roasted malt and caramel. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt and caramel, a bit thin body and short finish compared to the best Norwegian competitors in the same class. But totally drinkable.

Bottle. High creamy and lasting off-white head. Clear dark ruby body. Roasted malt flavor with spices that I connot figure out but also with notes of raisin. Spicy and hoppy roasted malt flavor, pretty sweet and sugary though. Heavily carbonated and a long sugary aftertaste.

Sampled at BDR’s tasting and shared by akevitt. Pours a clear caramel brown amber brew with a thin beige head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and off-white ring. Aroma of caramel malt, some dried prunes, raisin, some dark pitted fruits and some grassy hops. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of caramel malt, dark fruits, raisin and a touch of vegetable. Finish is semi-dry with some raisin in the aftertaste that quickly disappears.

[Bottle, thanks Akevitt!] Pours clear cola-brown with a beige head. Aroma is reminiscent of spicy bread--very malt heavy. Taste has some grape, just like the klasse D, but also a lot of the maltiness. Somewhat thing with a long dry finish. Definitely better than the klasse D, but still below average.
