COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The original strong version of Aass Christmas beer. In Norway sold only in Vinmonopolet stores. Well rounded aromatic flavour with hints of spices and caramel. Rated on top (or as runner-up) year after year in Norwegian Christmas beer ratings.

[ Trade by yngwie ]. Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - roasted, spicy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100417]

A deep red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is again sweet malty, but with slightly roasted notes, which gives it a dry end. OK Christmas beer.

Bottle @ Brugmansia/Fonefan Tasting, April 2010. Pours clear amber with a creamy head on top. Nose is rye-bread, caramel and buiscuit. Medium bodied. Flavor is Bread and caramel. Thin palate and overall quite anonymous.
