Editor’s note: Changed name from Juleøl Premium to Vellagret Juleøl November 2014. The beer formerly known as Juleøl, 6.5%, is now known as Juleøl Premium.

Dried fruits, caramel, nuts and chocolate in the aroma. Brown with a red tint, tan head. Medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter. Full body with a average to soft carbonation. Overall a really nice Christmas beer. Well balanced rich flavour, full body and some warming alcohol in the back.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet at home. Pours ruby red, clear, with a moderate head. Aroma of raisins, caramel, some fruitiness. A little bit sweet, but not too much. Some bitter finish. Medium bodied; a good beer I’d like to drink again.

Schön stark und süffig. Dazu Aromen von Malz, Karamell und reifen Früchten. Trinkbar, aber auch schwer. Ausbalanciert und wärmend. Fein.

Bottle from trade with Cunningham - many thanks, Henrik! The beer pours out in a deep dark brown colour with creamy low ehad and smooth body. Nice aroma of barley and mild malt. Taste of barley, prunes, plums, rum, malt and straw. Light caramel finish. Nice and easy to drink, definitely a good one.
