UPDATED: JAN 20, 2012 bottle - golden body with a white head - a very standard lager beer, how many of this boring lagers with different labels do Aass bother to make?
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 rubbishystuff (1202) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 23, 2010
A not too bad rendition of pale european lager. Not much can be said. Slightly malty. Serving: Can

Pours a nice light golden yellow. Aromas of hops, grass, and maybe corn. Taste is crisp with a nice mellow hop flavor. Still better than Bud/Coors/Miller light products.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Papsoe (21781) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2005
(Can 50 cl) Golden with a nice head - yet surprisingly hazy. Fresh, slightly bitter with an odd tartness coming close to Swedish "Färsk-öl". Canned for the American market. 221203
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Pigfoot (2266) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 12, 2004
When I sampled this for the first time, 2 years ago, I declared that I could drink it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Now. I was probably trying to get on the good side of the pretty girl who poured it for me, but I was impressed, though I'm an ale man, and I really coouldn't down too many lagers in a row, unless forced to do so...
Thin, white bubbly head forms a small ivory ring over a typical lager hue, pale yellow. Aroma greets the nose happily, with dry, floral, citrusy notes, lots of lemon. Highly aromatic from the moment the can is opened. Mouthfeel is straightforward, unintrusive, clean, pleasant. A sweet and happy finish that walks along your tongue, taking it's time. Light body, very tasty. Just what you need in a lager.Excellent on draft, too
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 roomtempbeer (185) - Franklin, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2003
From a can, beer pours (in Chimay glass) a very light applejuice (piss, read 'urine')-golden color with virgin-white, small-bubbled head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is of burned wood citrus with straw. Flavor is a slight citrus coverup to straw, and generally bland tasting liquid. Heard great things about this drainpour of yucky yellow beer. So much for celebrating #50. Sampled at 71 degrees Fahrenheit.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 ClarkVV (3578) - Allston, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 17, 2003
UPDATED: OCT 16, 2003 Light yellow/straw color. Tiny white head fizzes away. Almost no aroma. After thourougly enjoying the Aass Classic, I was disappointed by this watered down version. Had some straw flavor with some malt, but was too thin. Not much to write this beer just didnt have enough there (wasnt overly carbonated though!). Get Aass Classic if you want a real treat from this brewery.
