COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The malted barley is a pilsner malt produced in the Scandinavian countries. We use the very best of hops known under the names of Saazer and Hallertau, and the liquid is pure Norwegian mountain water.
Version brewed for the domestic Norwegian market contains 4.5% ABV.

I’ve drunk this one in Europe a couple of times. It’s nothing memorable for some reason. Most of these lagers from Europe are no more memorable than a PBR or a Blatz or a Budweiser.

Bottled. (Only 4.5% ABV due to Norwegian alcohol-taxes.) Clear, pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is malty, but with some grainy notes. Quite sweet, malty and light flavor. Medium to light body and a finish with some bitterness. (060216)

A rather bland, standard Norwegian pilsener, saved by some flowery hops and hoppy frehness in the finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pilsener golden with a small, creamy head. Lightly hoppy nose. Quite light-bodied with a weak, malty base. Faint hops in the finish. 290106

A light orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and rather hoppy, the flavor is also sweet and hoppy though not as much as the aroma - but still OK.

larsga (4435) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 6, 2006
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2008 Big white fine-laced head, clear copper body. Soft, faintly spicy floral hop aroma. Taste is initially caramel malts, followed by floral hops and apples. Dry, papery, mealy aftertaste with a grassy bitterness is the lowest point of the beer. Not the most exciting Pilsner, but decent. (0.5l can.)

Pours a bright gold amber color. Aromas fruit, floral, and malt. Flavor is malty, with a fine hop taste. Hop finish and aftertaste.
