COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The malted barley is a pilsner malt produced in the Scandinavian countries. We use the very best of hops known under the names of Saazer and Hallertau, and the liquid is pure Norwegian mountain water.
Version brewed for the domestic Norwegian market contains 4.5% ABV.

Bottle 0,33l. Pale golden coloured. A large fluffy head.. Some hoppy notes in the aroma. Oily mouthfeel but hardly any taste. A malty and bitter finish.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2010 Pours a pale golden body with a fizzy, foamy and quickly disappearing white head. Overcooked veggies, canny metallic adjuncts and generally not very good stuff hits my nose..this could get nasty.. Taste is similar; canned dogfood, cereals, veggies...jeez...this is much worse than anticipated. Watery palate. Aass may have some good beer, but their staple - the pilsner - is a very, very far cry from anything remotely tasty. Drain pour. How this beer got its fairly decent rating (at least for a commercial lager beer) I really do not know.

it looked nice but my bottle was totally skunked. There is one other place in town I think I can get this so will have to re-rate later.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2003 Had this in bottle well chilled. Hazy, with lumps floating. Color is dark yellow, darker than Bohemian brews. Slight aroma of hops, tastes very mild, slight garbage taste. Has the Danish lager styling but mine had poor flavor and chill haze. I'll rerate when I can get this again, my bottle may have been defective.
