A bit of malt and a hint of cherry in the aroma and flavor. Looks like a pilsener, must be an ale bcause of the fruity character (orange and cherry). Somewhat sticky and low on hopbitterness.

For the record, my bottle claims 5% ABV only Huge, vanishing off-white head over old gold beer. Vanilla and frangipane, initially a bit oppressive nose, later toasted notes, very malty, more than just pale malt. A bit grassy. Pineapple flavour, a bit grassy, and further a jumble of malts. Light to medium bodied, not empty. The toasted malts leave a long lingering flavour. Strange beer. It’s got some top-fermenting streaks, but I’m still convinced this is bottom-fermented, really. And brewed in Germany.

Clear yellow, short white head. Aroma of hop, grass and straw, some malt. Malty and bitter taste. It’s more of a classic german pilsener.

Bottle. BB April 05, 13 months ago. Almost clear golden colour. Fizzy, unstable white head. Mild, malty flavour, a bit sweet. Rough carbonation. Rather mild beer, but nicely balanced.
