COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We used water from icebergs (ryuhyo) in the Okhotsk Sea to make a refreshing, light beer. Enjoy its fragrance and richness.

Why is it blue? Aqua blue. Tastes like a blue lollipop. Like a common lager bitter taste. Very thin feel on the palate, wheat. You can really taste whatever they put in the food colouring. Slight hint of apples. Leaves my mouth with a bad aftertaste, saturated aftertaste. Not very good or fun to drink and it leaves my mouth feeling uncomfortable.

12 ounce bottle thanks very much to Masaki. Pours a clear blue/green color with a small white head. A sweet malty and light vegetable nose. A smooth somewhat grainy flavor, some light bitterness and soapiness. Decent. I’d love to visit Abashiri.

Bottle. Contains starch, nagaimo potatoes, and some kind of vegetable coloring from Hokkaido. A happoshu. It really is a pale aquamarine blue color, with a clear white head, quickly going to fine lace. A very light, refreshing flavor, not much malt, no hops, slightly fruity, a tad medicinal. Somewhat interesting, drinkable, probably a good refresher on a hot summer day, though doesn’t seem much like beer, and really not very good.
