UPDATED: FEB 26, 2004 (1 litre bottle) Had this with the family for Thanksgiving. I must say that I greatly appreciate the complexity but the champagne body lacked the mesmerizing aroma I had expected. Little in the way of sweetness in either the nose nor the palate. The flavour was too tart… this cider would be far better appreciated with a prize-winning strong European cheese. I would definitely give this a try again but wouldn't rank it as one of the better I've sampled.
