Apr 2, 2007 Bottled. Hazy pale golden. Strong buttery aroma. Fairly sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Despite it’s size it feels light and drinkable. Evident yeast flavour, notes of butterscotch. Some grass and mustard creep out in the finish.

Jul 2, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Fully golden, presumeably filtered with a very small sediment of yeast. Small, creamy head. Extremely high carbonation - this really is a burper. Yeasty nose, very malty flavours and a pronounced ale-like fruitiness and some sweetness. Some not so pleasant sulphurous notes as well. Comes closer to a blond ale rather than a trippel. A bit uninspired. 010705
