1/IX/2012 33cl bottle @ Tuinfeest Heeren van Liedekercke (Denderleeuw) - BB: 12/I/14 (2012-995)

Clear brown to reddish beer, small aery yellow head, bit stable, little adhesive. Aroma: sweet caramel, candi sugar, raisins, dried fruits, some port, orange peel, acacia honey. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of dried fruits, raisins, caramel, some spices, liquorish, cloves, aniseed, bit of mocha. Aftertaste: caramel, somewhat hoppy, spices, star anise, some mocha, cloves, chocolate, little bitter.

(Bottled) Very hazy reddish brown with a smallish but firm, beige head. Solventy aroma with dried fruit and caramely malt. Flavor is better: no solvent here, but dried fruitiness, sweet caramely malt. Medium to full body, warming palate with quite soft mouthfeel. Quite sweet and not very clean, but flavor is ok. 6236

Bottle (33 cl) from beerplanet.be. Clear chestnut, medium beige head. Nutty, fruity and slightly chocolatey aroma. Medium bodied, medium to high carbonation. Semi dry with medium bitterness.

(33cl bottle, BB 18/01/13) Pours a clear amber body with a tall rocky cream head and descent lacing. Aroma of raisins, leather, brown sugar, dates, caramel, and grass. Flavor of raisins, caramel, brown sugar, and dates.

Dark mahogany color; generous creamy head. Caramel aroma. Very good malt and caramel flavor, quite sweet, with strong body strength; also a touch of liquorice. Solid beer.

Bottle from Beer Mania. Dark brown with big, puffy tan head. Nose of sweet, spicy malts. Taste of caramel, toffee, fruits and roasted malts. Really nice. A bit sweetish and strong in the finish.

Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark bread, roasted, caramel, berries, dark dried fruit, light brown sugar, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101016]

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear reddish brown with an off-white head. Lovely aroma of roasted malts and dark dried fruits - some rum accents as well. Solid body, roast, dark dried fruits and friendly phenols. Quite some alcohol in the finish. 161010

33 cL bottle at Delerium. Pours dark brown with a collapsing white head. Mild fruity yeasty aroma. Light mouldy and metallic flavoured. Vague yeasty fruity note to a distinct earthy base. Fruity and metallic flavoured finish. Slight off and disharmonious.
