3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2008 Golden/amber colour, nice big head, and sweet fruity aroma. Also the taste is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange and coriander. There’s bitterness in the finish, with more hop presence than normally in this style. Good beer.

Bouteille de 33 cl. bu au Pub St-Alexandre. Blonde brumeuse, peu de collet. Arome légé de malte et d’épice. Goût simplistique, peu de malte mais réchauffant.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JAN 24, 2007 Bottle 0.33L.
Light malty and yeasty aroma; light citrus notes; alcohol and spices (cloves) are evident.
Dark golden body, lightly cloudy, with a huge, creamy, white head; fully lasting with an excellent lacing.
Flavour is moderate sweet with light bitter notes; spicy notes clearly distinguishable; average finish.
Medium body with an oily texture; average carbonation; moderate-to heavy alcoholic feeling in the finish.
I expected a more structured beer, but it is nice anyway.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark amber body, crowned by a pillowy head. Great balance in this brew which starts with sweeter than more tripels do, with caramel and summer fruits notes, before a robust hoppy peppery backbround emerges. FInish is long and rather dry. Smooth, full body, excellent drinkability.

Golden colour. Bit weird aroma from yellow peas, and a bit sweet. Peas is good stuff! Very, clean and smooth, light fruity mouthfeel with a dash of wheat.

[Bottle from RBESG] Big yeasty aroma, rotten bananas, sweet, peppery, dry. Tripels just do not bake my cake.
