UPDATED: OCT 22, 2007 Why brew such a tasteless "tripel"? Lot of cara-malt and alcohol. No spices, no fruitiness, just a boring lasting sweetness and sick yeast aroma and flavour. Unbalanced, not a single trace of hop, even for a no-bitter style as tripel.

#1272 Leuchtendes Orange mit viel Sahne-Schaum, ein Traum von Optik! Der Inhalt ist zwar auch gefährlich süffig für 7,8%, aber zu sehr glattgeschliffen, auf Mainstream gebraut. Malzig, leicht hefig...fertig, das wars leider schon!

33cl bottle @ home. Gusher. Hazy golden color, medium sized creamy white head. Smell malts, sweetness and some herbs. taste malts, a slight sweet hint, immediately overtaken by a malty-fruitpeel-bitterness with a slightly sour hint, probably from some herbs or spices. Pretty high, fizzy carbonation, medium body.

Aroma fiorito, con qualcosa di mais e muschio. Al palato si presenta inizialmente dolce con qualcosa di frutti di bosco (tipo di more). Vira alla fine verso un amaro luppolato abbastanza secco. Mi aspettavo di più!

Bouteille 33cL. Blonde opaque legerement ambree. Nez de malt et de levure. Bouche moyennement maltee... un peu d'erable et de cereales... Finale courte et seche

Una birra bevibile da 6 non di piu’ sapore abbastanza normale colore idem retrogusto inesistente, sembra il clone della affligem blonde.

It poured an almost clear golden liquid with a small white head. Fruity smell with yeast and pale malts. Similar taste with a herbal bitterness and a peppery finish.

33cl bottle. Golden colour with a frothy, large and off-white head. Aroma is slightly yeasty, sweet and caramelish traces. Flavour is moderate alcoholic, coriander and yeast traces with mild sweetness and caramel hints. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium.
