From bottle at Kulminator, sampled in March 2008. 2001 Vintage. Cloudy orange with large white head. Flowery hop nose with spicy yeast still present and the good old marzipan. Great rounded mouthfeel, with notes of juniper and port. It’s vineous alright! Delicate beer.

Bottle. [Vintage 1999] Unclear medium orange color with a large, frothy, excellent lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, grass, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (131207)

Bottle, 8%. Best before 2001, 6 years ago. Qiuite fruity, nicely bready aroma with a hint of alcohol. Very cloudy orange colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is quite lightly malty, a little sweet and bready, slightly coriandery. OK alcohol notes.

A Mes rate: Bottle at The Kulminator. Hazy light amber colour with a pretty good head. Flowery, grassy and lightly spiced. Plenty of citrus and a little christmas cake with brandy. Certainly better than their newer stuff.

3rd LCRBM. Same bottle as bierkoning, vintage 1990. Aroma has some butter, yeast and sweetish fruits. Hazy orange coloured with a thick white head. Looks still great after all these years. Taste is sweet creamy and has cake, orange, fruits. Nice!
