3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Papsoe (22944) - Frederiksberg, - MAY 23, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Reddish brown, hazy from lots of yeasty sediment. Huge, fluffy head standing tall in the glass. Very dry and spicy but also "sweet’n’sour" - almost lige a sour Flemish ale. A rather unusual abbaye-beer, but exotic and pleasant.

Transfering data from personal beer file. I drank this beer a long time ago. I’ll update this rating if I have the chance to drink it again.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 SilkTork (4736) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - DEC 29, 2009
Quite lagerish - thin, dry and lacking flavour. Cheap ingredients spread thin. Some mild sense of of a spicy Belgian yeast - perhaps induced by using lactic acid in the ingredients (doesn’t say). This is clearly a cheap copy of Affligem Blonde - though is nothing like it. Drinkable, but poor quality and uninteresting.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 KyotoLefty (3743) - Kyoto, JAPAN - OCT 3, 2009
A golden blonde color with just the slightest amber tint. Tall, creamy head.
Sweet malty aroma with fruit and yeast. A touch of spice as well.
Rather typical Belgian blonde flavor. A bit sweet, fruity, malt and caramel. Hopping ok, but not special. A slight sour taste in there as well. Also a bit buttery or creamy. Slightly bitter, sweet and sour finish. Decent mouth feel, medium body and carbonation. A non-exciting abbey blonde. Refreshing and not bad, but nothing to go out of your way for.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Borresteijn (2756) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 7, 2008
Bottle. ABV 6,2%. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of sugar, fruits. Flavour is sweet, some sour apples, malts. Cheap imitation of a Leffe blonde, not too bad however.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 19, 2008
Bottled. (6.2%) Clear golden, average head. Fruity glue aroma. Sweet and medium bodied, cardboardy and mushy, sloppy and lager-like. Well below average in almost every aspect.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 oh6gdx (15955) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 2, 2008
bottled (thanks Bov!, 0.25l bottle, 6.2%, Abbaye De Dieleghem Blonde). golden colour with small white head, which disappears very fast. Aroma is yeast, rotten fruits, some spices and earth. Flavour is very sweet, earthy, slightly rubbery. A bunch of candisugar and some notes of alcohol. Rather un-balanced and even to the border of being offensive. Leaves a very oily mouthfeel.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 heavy (1490) - Split, CROATIA - FEB 27, 2008
0.25 l bottle, thanks Doggythedog for sharing it! Poured pale golden body with quite small white head. Fine, typical Belgian ale aroma, yeasty, with some fruits (banana, ananas) mixed with spices, but not really intensive, at contrary. Sourish flavor, quite nice and let’s say full, but still nothing special, what should be expected from this style. Also finish is very ordinary and left me pretty indifferent. Quite poorly made Belgian ale, although really fine beer.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Marko (3110) - Split, CROATIA - FEB 24, 2008
Abbaye de Dieleghem Blonde, brewed in Belgium, bottled by Saverne for Casino...same beer? 0.25l bottle courtesy of ogivlado (thanks!), shared with heavy Poured a small thick white head that went away slowly, lively streams of carbonation pierced the slightly hazy golden body. Spicy and somewhat yeasty nose. Light taste, very light spiciness, bready. Light hoppy bitterness, and some lemon from the same source I guess. Notes of alcohol and malt (not the greatest around). Bready aftertaste. A standard, run of the mill Belgian, but still nice enough.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Bov (7316) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 7, 2008
clear golden-bronze colour with a little white foam; estery nose, aroma of apples; robust carbonation and solid malt body; sweet and a bit oily; aggressive bitterness and a long fruity finish with lots of residual sugars - perfumy/artificial
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ogivlado (4444) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 15, 2008
Bottled(250ml). -from Geant in Briancon as Abbaye de Dieleghem Blonde, 6.2%
Pale golden coloured, huge white head, very fizzy. Malty, nice hoppy and slight fruity without any trace of alcohol. Refreshing and nice.
